The Kasalyst story
Kasalyst was founded by Kate Sime and Sarah Nicoll — two creative entrepreneurs with backgrounds across headhunting, fashion, hospitality, high-end holiday lets and sport.
They met twenty years ago, new mothers with their first babies, and have been close ever since. Two decades on, both found themselves single again — and, for the first time, dating in a world that had been completely rewritten while they were away. The only dating they’d ever known
happened in real life. Now it was screens, swipes, and conversations that went nowhere.
So they did what they’d always done: leaned on each other, and went looking for something better. They tried meeting people the way they used to — in person, in a room — and found the rooms didn’t exist. Bars belonged to the twenty-somethings. It was never obvious who was actually single. And there was nowhere built for people like them: confident, interesting, ready for this chapter and in no mood to swipe their way through it.
So they built it.
